Pineapple Sheet Cake
Mix together: 2 cups white sugar, 1/2 tsp.
salt, 1 tsp. baking soda, 2 cups flour.
Add: 2 large eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 1 stick butter, 20 oz. can crushed pineapple and
juice.
Beat together well, pour into greased sheet cake pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
TOPPING: 5 oz. can evaporated milk, 1 cup white sugar, 1 stick butter, 1 cup coconut. Mix milk, sugar, and butter in saucepan, bring to boil and stir and boil for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in coconut, pour over cake while hot and spread gently over cake.
