SUNDAY'S RECIPE

OATMEAL BREAD FOR THE BREADMAKER

Add ingredients in this order: 1-1/4 cup boiling water, 1 TBSP butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 TBSP salt, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup whole wheat flour, 1 TBSP gluten and/or 1 TBSP cornmeal, 3-1/4 cup flour, 1-1/4 tsp yeast.

Turn bread machine to Dough only setting and walk away. When bread has mixed, kneaded, and rose, turn out and roll up tight, place into greased bread pan-cover with towel and let rise in warm place. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
