EXTREME GARAGE MAKEOVER-FUNKS HIBRIDS

Funk's Hibrid's is branching out onto a new, unchartered project for the company. The president/CEO of Funk's Hibrid's and his wife asked for an extreme makeover on their garage. After 21 years of accumulative junk has collected in their garage, the couple would like it transformed into a nice looking garage and combination woodworking shop. WKRP in Cinncinati was contacted to do the live remotes, and as soon as chief field reporter Ted Baxter gets his wardrobe picked, they will be documenting via live remote the actual demolition/rebuild. In the meanwhile, these stills will journal the project.

In the picture to the left, you can see the current state of the garage...accumulating chemicals, lawn items, car parts and the like. No one knows the actual date that the tornado blew thru?! Some demolition materials can be seen in the left of the picture.

The top picture shows the north wall after demolition...hangars, screws, assorted mini-shelves, and a rikety shelf unit have been removed in preparation of the next step in the project. Plans are to insulate between the studs, attach OSB board and paint the walls. A new handmade woodworking cabinet has been purchased and will be set on the north wall along with a band saw, table saw, radial arm saw, and joiner. New pallet racking and enclosed cabinets will be placed on the east wall to complete the job. The budget of $1000.00 has been set as a goal by the company...we'll see if they make their goal.

Watch for more details as the project progresses...
